Drumlanrig Castle, Gardens and Country Park, the Dumfriesshire home of the Duke of Buccleuch and Queensberry KT. The castle is made of local pink sandstone. Inside there is a renowned art collection, including works by Leonardo, Holbein and Rembrandt, cabinets made for Louis XIV's Versailles. Associations with Robert Bruce, Mary Queen of Scots and Bonnie Prince Charlie. Disabled access. Also shop, licensed restaurant, craft workshops, working forge, adventure playground, woodland walks and visitors centre.
