The Old Tower dates from 1555 and houses splendid armour, books, panelling and a Priest's Secret Hiding Hole, together with fine paintings, china and furnishings collected by the family over the Centuries.
The grounds ar Ripley are a delight through every season, with deer park, lakes, woodland walks, and Victorian Walled Gardens - home to the National Hyacinth Collection. Recently restored Hot Houses boast an extensive tropical plant collection, whilst the Kitchen gardens are home to rare vegetables from the Henry Doublday Research Institute.
