Set among thickly wooded slopes overlooking the Milford Haven Waterway, in a tranquil little-known corner of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The gardens surround a fine Medieval Castle, which is still a private residence (not open to the public). The 37 acre gardens are particularly noted for rhododendrons, camellias and magnolias, but contain 250 different species of trees and shrubs. There are also formal terraces with herbaceous borders and rose gardens. A Medieval Chapel contains family memorials. |
